Benchmark indices ended the session on a positive note with Nifty50 settled the August series of derivatives contract above 9,900 mark led by information technology (IT), realty and auto stocks. Positive trend in Asian and European markets, after upbeat Chinese and US economic news whetted appetite for riskier assets globally, also contributed to gains. Nifty Future closed around its immediate resistance 9975 buying momentum seen if able to close around it.
