Benchmark indices traded lower on the last trading session of the august series F&O expiry and the weak global cues also kept the market lower throughout the session. Investors are eagerly waiting for the upcoming central bankers meeting in Jackson Hole where the FED’s Chairperson can provide a hint on the future trajectory of interest rate in USA economy.
BHEL, BPCL, GAIL and ITC were the top gainers of the day while Wipro, Adani Ports and IDEA were among the top losers of the day.
